[V3.2.0] Xbox Guitar Controller Firmware Update
A new v3.2 Xbox Guitar Controller Firmware Update is available!
Available via the CRKD App and PC Updater, this update improves overall performance and stability, along with key fixes and optimizations.
v3.2 includes new improvements as well as all previously released updates.
To get the best performance, this update also requires updating your guitar controller fret neck, improving latency and reducing dropped or freezing fret inputs.
⚠️ Important: After updating to v3.2, power the controller on and let it run normally before powering it off to update the fret neck. This ensures the body recognizes the correct neck type (OG or SOLO) and applies the right update.
If you’re updating multiple necks, repeat this process for each one.
Download the latest firmware by visiting crkd.gg or by connecting to CRKD CTRL within the CRKD App.
A new update for the CRKD App is available. To stay up to date, please update to the latest version by visiting https://go.crkd.gg/app on your smartphone, or search CRKD in your preferred app store.

  • Addresses issues with fret dropping, input consistency and input dropping.

🔧 HOW TO UPDATE NECK FIRMWARE

After updating to v3.2 firmware your guitar body can now update the fret neck firmware to the latest version. The update is delivered from the body to the neck, rather than directly from the updater. Update your guitar first, then manually update the neck by following the steps below.

  • First, update your guitar controller firmware via the CRKD App or Windows PC updater.
  • Once updated, power off the guitar controller, unplug the USB-C cable, and unplug your dongle. (Important).
  • While the controller is off, hold the Green, Yellow, and Orange fret buttons, then power it on at the same time using the CRKD Home button.,
  • The LEDs will flash blue, then green to confirm the update is complete.
